i mean all this shit could easily grow in ratingz but i feel weird giving out 4.5s and shit to new bands that primarily just sound like old bands ya know?

I get it, been there heard that as well as stuff that sounds too clean/accessible. Could apply to most genres but good new bands keep springing up. I’ve used Sput since ‘08 so know my ratings/tastes vary to yours. Been getting into extreme metal since then but osdm more recently which adds to the novelty factor.

Over the years i kept thinking id grow tired of OSDM revival stuff, but it doesnt happen. I go through phases where im bored of it, but i always end up coming back.

I'm still the one who thinks this and many others are building something new in the genre, picking up from that OSDM feature, weather being crustier, muddier, psych or whatever...I think its a tad unfair to mention they're just repeating riffs...when I actually think they're keeping the genre well, alive and kinda a fresh.
But I'm no oldschooler scholar, so I'm prob wrong...just having big amounts of fun with many of these bands.

this absolutely rips if you're into that death/doom combo, which is a phase I currently find myself deep into
|
| |
that's not even constructive criticism that's just geologically unethical sach why would you
|
| |
i refer to all banned alt users as sach because i can't tell them apart unless they bump hip hop nobody's ever heard of

Mmm, its good shit. I think sometimes the drummer uses blast beats where a slower beat would make more sense, but those two tracks they have available certainly have me stoked.
