Finally... it's out.

This is cheesy, but not in the good way. It has its moments, but the clean singing killed every song for me, which is sad.

Sad, because songs like 'Mount Rapture' could have been awesome, but in this way just... meh.

stellar album, vocal melodies are much improved over the last album, and in general the jarring and awkward transitions from their previous album are gone

The keyboards in "Up North" are sooo Uriah Heep.

The vox are fantastic yeah

never listened to borknagar before but yeah the vocals are very good, and Into the White is a ton of fun

Hell yeah. I tried to be pretty damn clear about how vocal driven this is. I knew it would surprise people since this is (was?) a black metal band, after all.

Blackened prog-metal? Well time to give it a spin.
