"Enshrined" is up there for me, and I love "Undertow."

Interesting record, needs some time to sink in I reckon.

Extremely well-written review! I wish it would "click" for me as it has for you, as I was quite bored and couldn't find anything to hook my interests. But great review nonetheless. It certainly convinced me to listen.

Well hey, appreciate the kindness and the willingness to try it. I know the "it's a grower" shtick has gotten tiresome, these days, but this album is deserving of it; it wasn't a 5 for me originally. It's very densely layered and I do believe repeat listens can uncover more details.

Yeah this album definitely makes me miss my Senneheisers. My Mee earbuds are trying but there's way too much going on to appreciate fully here

I feel that. I got my current pair as a Christmas gift some years back and they've held up very well, much better than previous pairs. It's a Skullcandy, at least I think that's what the brand is. Solid stuff, wireless, bluetooth, all that jazz.

I sound like I'm making a sales pitch...

I actually prefer JBL over Skullcandy in terms of bass. Depending on what you’re listening to, Beats are nice, and I have a pair of criminally underused Audio Technica’s somewhere...

I've always thought Beats were overrated, lot of their selling point comes from their branding rather than their quality.

My AKGs are so good, but had Sennheiser in-ears before and would definitely consider again. My next pair will probably be unreasonably costly, haha.

There's clearly a lot of layers in this. I think I'll need a few listens before I can rate it. Certainly has its moments.

@Hawks they actually do bear similarities. Both occupy the same space of atmo-black.

Sorry it didn't click for you trilo, but appreciate the read/check.

And Shadow of Intent are good, but agreed, couldn't love them like others.
