Super stoked to check this out. Was going to yesterday, but I got distracted by the whole Tool leak thing lol

mixed feelings here. it's fun and no-frills as you said, but sometimes feels a little too uninspired. two more songs to go, I'm hoping this can pull off a 3.5 but might end up settling for a 3

The album should be called "We apologize for Heal"
I humbly beg to differ, Heal is not pure '80s thrash, granted, but it's a great album per se, a third of the tracks therein (at least), can be safely placed in a killer Sacred Reich live setlist.

It's weird that the communists on this site haven't called these guys nazis yet...

^^Well, Sacred Reich's moderate stance towards Trump ("Don't Do It Donnie"), as well as the critical review of themselves as liberals in the lyrics, is probably what their country needs right now, bipartisan polarization therein is at an all time high right now.
It's also on par with a talk from stand-up comedian Colin Quinn on Netflix, which every American needs to watch and reflect on imho.

Countries have the leaders they deserve, in my opinion... it was the people who elected them...

^^Fully agreed, but the bipartisan rivalry going on right now in the US, is far more corrosive that the mere fact of Trump being president.

Have you noticed that we, Europeans, don't have strong leaders either? Unfortunately, we live in times where small men rule the many.

^^Fully agreed again, but at the risk of repeating myself to no end, the enemy is the once unfathomable bigotry that has taken over opposing parties of all sorts, in almost every country.

I hear you, and you're right mate. Virtue is in the center and common sense to get the best from both sides of the barricade (left and right), but unfortunately only part of the most educated middle class realizes this, and this niche represents only a small portion of contemporary society.

Nice to see you writing again Willie (smth I gotta apply myself too).
The album is pretty decent, I honestly thought it was gonna be a train wreck.

I didn't expect a train wreck, because even Heal wasn't terrible... but I wasn't sure how good it would be. It turned out to be pretty close to my favorite Sacred Reich release, Independent.

The album is more solid than I expected, except for Death Valley and the ender, I like all songs. From the stuff I've heard from these guys this one is the closest to Anthrax.

Have only heard the title track and Manifest Reality, but both jam extremely hard

Check out Salvation and Killing Machine. Those are the two best, IMO.

I don't mind Death Valley, but I'm not too into the closing track. I guess it's about the vocalist's friend who died or something. I listened again, and this album does have some similarities to Worship Music.

Heal is a great 90s groove/thrash album with lots of attitude, energy, good riffs, and concise songwriting. I really do not get the hate.
I think the last song on this is great but I don't think it's the best choice for a closer. Maybe Revolution would've been a better way to cap things off. I think my favorite song, musically and lyrically, is Killing Machine.
