I'm a little confused with all the insane hype this is getting. Its a good record and has a lot of replay value. But its not a that mind blowing to me, i've heard a lot of better DM drop this year.

Yeah, but that's not the point of this album. It's not about being innovative, or blowing minds, nor is it about being better than others. It's all about having some good old fashioned fun, though, and I for one welcome that.

Also, the song writing. You just have to give them credit for that.

Dude, honestly, if you want innovative or groundbreaking shit, look somewhere else. Go get those proggy Horrendous riffs or something. Me? I'll take this and hit it with a 4 any fucking day. This does what I want it to do without any of the bullshit. Maybe that's safe, but I don't really come to osdm revival type stuff trying to find innovation. I'm happy to just fucking jam.

lol actually a lot of the time bands will play a show in Chicago and skip Minneapolis. but i get plenty of good bands coming here, i cant complain. i have to wait till October for this one.
