only complaint is i am not used to how out of tune the double tracked vocals are on a couple of songs (lookin at you ranch style home) but it was worth it for the glorious dreamy takes on pinback it has. goddamn petes hill is incredible. will definitely be listening more

my favourite run on this is ranch - pete's hill - beneath the lights because it's the only run in music that sounds like modest mouse, pinback and mid-career flaming lips collaborated on an album. absolutely perfect



but weirdly my two favourite songs (living free and nothing else to think about) are outside it. man this album is all winners
