After putting it off for eternity, I'm finally giving this album a listen. Great stuff so far, but I'm going to give it a few listens before I rate it.

And I'm glad I checked this album. It's amazing. Really like all the tracks, particularly the one featuring Meth.

i dunno man. illmatic is nuts but i think they win different categories of hip hop.
illmatic is much more accessible but this has fantastic depth.

Well, this is better, but Illmatic is still a pinnacle for rap music as this is. Obviously Wu as a whole is more consistent, but Illmatic is just flat out amazing.
