The cover art on this is awesome. Never got around to checking their previous one but giving this a shot because of the cover. Sounds pretty solid so far. Think their first two will always be my favorite

This band really doesn't do it for me without Akerfeldt. Also the song writing and mix seems to have changed with Grand Morbid Funeral as well. Zzz

Disagree. While I must admit Mikael’s and Peter’s vocal were better than Nick’s, the songwriting and variety of influences on here are just very good. I can see why you wouldn’t like the production on this however!

Band has never let me down, although the first 3 LPs (and the Unblessing The Purity EP) are way better than the last few.

Next one needs huge melodic leads on the closer to compete with their best (Cry My Name, Mouth of Empty Praise, Hades Rising)
