I have no idea what the epic 6th track is called / what Ichiko is on about, yet I can’t say it matters because holy smokes is it awesome

reminds me of Emily by Joanna Newsom, a really devotional song that's also about the marvels of the universe

I feel like Ichiko deserves a thorough discog run when such an opportunity arises, those are some encouragingly consistent averages

Seeing her for the first time on April 10th in Milano ! If anybody wanna meet up then hit me up.

Going in.
Very hyped to check this one, it seems it's her best?

I think so, for sure. Those occasional field recordings really make some of the quaint songs seem vast.

It was really nice, still enjoy Origami more I think but just because i'm more familiar with it

Lol yeah that's potentially the wildest Ichiko take I've ever seen here
Origami is nice, but probs the only one of her records up to Windswept that struggles to cut it outside of fluffy mood music (though Utabiko is on the line at points hm)

Origami is probably my least fave, but it is still nice and good. No bad Ichiko albums

yeah, hard to dislike anything of hers

She was so great live! I'm glad I had the chance to witness her in her prime. One day I'll tell my grandchildren about it and they'll be sooo envious.
