language of injury was cool, really enjoyed it. but the thing is, most metalcore is a huge turn off for me now so realistically I'm not gonna put a lot of effort into "finding it." that's why recs are nice

" most metalcore is a huge turn off for"
That is the same for me, and I don't care enough to actively seek stuff out. Just don't write off an entire genre. Especially one that had some good mathcore albums in 2018.

There is always something undiscovered on the web.

ok on another note the reception this album is getting genuinely confuses me

it's seen as their best on RYM but their worst here? Hmmmm... perhaps the answer lies in the middle.

"it's seen as their best on RYM"

That's not saying much. It only has 54 ratings.

If anything, that means they think it is worse. (only a 0.2 lead from 1/5 the ratings)

As far as I'm aware, RYM is commonly seen as the more elitist counterpart to this site. Which is something you probably wouldn't be able to tell right away, what with the way they take albums like this and PWD's Reverence in comparison. But as confusing as it is...it doesn't matter at the end of the day.

Has Manson ever acknowledged these guys? Does he know they exist?

Lighten up guys seriously. The albums fun AF.

I just listened to 3 songs from that Language of injury album - ummm yeah. Like amateur hour. Painfully inept vocals. Not sure where the comparison comes from there. Mind you, I did only listen to those 3 songs once....

Its got some mainstream "sounding" choruses and even full tracks - on no, we must hate it. Classic.

@sinternet - Wow indeed. I've done alot of writing all over the internet (as I am sure most of you all have), and that is close to the most immature and misguided comment I have read on any forum/comments section/review site ...ever.

Its also music for......anyone who likes it and wants to listen to it. Including boring old dads in office work apparently. Myself and many others.

Methinks you need to (I'll say it again) lighten up and just enjoy music
