“Okay, so after finding out more about the band, I realized that their message is everything that I'm against for the most part. I even find that some of their views are harmful especially when concerning the US. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I decided to separate the art from the artist and found that this was ome of the best post hardcore albums that I have heard in recent years.”

I guess this where our opinions part, I’m incredibly Liberal/Left Wing so I agree with a lot of what they say.

Good for you. Regardless of my political affiliation, I've come to these conclusions based on the facts I've seen and studied for years. I wouldn't say being liberal automatically means an individual believes those things or should believe them though.

@WatchItExplode I looked that up and it sounds pretty nihilistic. Haha. Like: "Nothing can be proven so believe nothing." Trust me, there's an objective truth.

Don't tell me you didn't like this enough to rate Slex. Also don't tell me if you didn't bother to listen.

@WatchItExplode I'm sorry, I couldn't tell. Haha. You got me. Haha. I'm also a hopeful agnostic....actually, take away that hopeful part. I've lost faith in most things. Hahaha.

Bump.

Saw them opening for La Dispute in London last night. The songs from this album sound great live, was particularly great hearing No Love For A Nation live

Just bumping this to say that their vocalist Ren is being sued alongside several other women for speaking up about the abusive nature of Itch from The King Blues, and they’ve got a campaign to help cover their legal fees which you can donate to here:

Today they’ve been announced as the opening band for Thrice and Refused on the EU dates of their co headline tour (Gouge Away are opening on the UK dates). Anyone going to those shows is in for a treat (I’m going to the London show so I’ll be seeing Gouge Away open for them which is by no means a bad thing)
