Since there's no thread for it, just wanna say how awesome the new Tokyo Jihen album is. It made up for this release (I haven't heard it yet but the reception...yeah. I will probably like it more than Hi Izuru Tokoro though as the production sounds much better).

She's also released a new single that's very jazzy, and pretty great. It's up on Spotify. Called "LET'S GO". I take back what I said earlier about her being done. If her end career is this kind of vocal jazz, I wouldn't complain about it. She does it well.

I think it's something I'd enjoy more in a live setting than in studio, I enjoyed it but it didn't hit me.

At this stage I don't expect much of that anymore from her. I just want her to put out consistently great music again. It's been a mixed bag for a while. Kind of like how Utada came back, and just has been putting out consistently good music since Fantome onwards.
