Sun Killer is a slapper

Sun Killer slaps so hard. That buildup and breakdown is pure, unfiltered hype.
Also I posted my review for the album since the leak is out now. I've had my pre-order since Tuesday and have let the whole thing digest. I love it.

If the album isn't legit out, the review will get taken down most likely. But maybe if you have your pre-order they'll allow it

I wish Courtney would get back to the hail mary album sound. She's got the potential just gotta do it

This is listed as a compilation and is entitled "singles collection", but where are these songs from? If these are just five songs released as singles, isn't that an EP?

They released them on YT one after another during a year, hence the title I guess

I guess it more "feels" like a compilation album? My guess is that feeling will fade away with more listens. But it must be awkward at first.
I totally forgot about the upcoming album tbh, so it didn't happen to me

this is better than the ep, if only just by a hair. tracks 2-4 might be my fav consecutive run of their music ever

This didn't hit me as hard as their debut EP, but "Belcarra" rules.

electric cross into trust fall into belcarra is such a banging run

Outro to Trust Fall is so gorgeous. Something I've noticed while jamming Spiritbox on shuffle the past like week is that Courtney doesn't belt as much as she used to, her voice doesn't sound as full on newer stuff. Maybe that's a stylistic change cause she started doing the more breathy vocals

Noticed the same thing when listening to some older stuff yesterday. She generally sounds a bit more loose and comfortable taking some bigger swings on the older stuff imo. The new stuff feels very tightly controlled and deliberate by comparison. Applies to her screams too. I love her current tone, partly because it is SO clean and crisp, but on this and Mara she had some more raw and emotive stuff coming through.
