They do grindcore, osdm, bm, blend everything nicely and execute it remarkably well. I really don't see the problem Comrade.

I agree that these guys arent the greatest thing to ever exist
But I dunno about them and ABR having like any similarity lol.

gonna have to give this some more spins.. So far that Merzbow album is their best imo.. But this work ethic is real.. Good for FOH..

Is this better than their last album?
|
| |
I would say yes Pleb, by a comfortable margin.

Good cos I didn't dig their last one, mainly cos the production was obnoxious as hell.
|
| |
Umm I wouldn't say the production has changed drastically from Trumpeting my man, but there is more variety, more death, mid temps, little bit of experimentation here and there. Give it a shot.

Cool album...still growing on me. They're back to some things they ve done on first two LPs...love the band. Love trumpeting for the same reasons as Pleb...didn t find this as much disturbing though (not even as the first 2 ones)..but fuckin props for the grungy track Armory of Obsidian Glass and that crazy sax solo on the end of the album m/

band takes what constitutes "extreme music" and packages it up nicely, with the help of "extreme music" poster children, and delivers rather uninteresting music that retains a sense of "allure" in and of its elements, not-so-much how they're presented
there's nothing extreme about cherrypicking epithets for different movements within "extreme music" and then throwing them together in such a colourless pastiche as this
basically
this band do what ABR currently do with the lame banjo breakdown interludes and shit, except with shit that is seen as "extreme"
I’m sorry for necro bumping an old comment but I needed my own second to waft this take lmao
