their studio albums have become very mainstream oriented and on a project like this there were able to experiment a bit more again.

Yeah Only Revolutions is good, and Opposites is kinda boring. But they really dropped the ball in their last two albums for me (specially Ellipsis) It's sad tho because their b-side albums indicate they still have it in them.

I've changed my mind about Opposites over time. It is one of my favorites now.

Biffy's most overlooked album. It's not their most explosive record, but there's some really good stuff in here if given time, especially towards the middle to back end of this.
Can just get a bit boring in places, particularly the slower songs which really kill the pace.
