Jamming the opener, these guys remind me of Gene Loves Jezebel and Héroes del Silencio

The dude isn't the best singer in the world, but the band has a cool retro vibe

Dammit, the EP was better. Much punchier mix too.
|

cool vibe seems a bit novel though

Very modest album imo, catchy but also frustratingly rigid. The last minute of Jackie is very pleasant but it's about the only moment in the entire album where they let the music speak a bit.
Double Negative is mad catchy though, I'll give them that

You gotta be at least a bit of an asshole to howl in a goth song

Arghhh that Dragon song has terrible lyrics, but the instrumentation is so good, that closing solo is amazing

I do not remember that I have never returned an album without being bored so many times in the last few years. A great album really saves lives

I really want to like this more than I do, but his lyrics are just so piss-poor at times that it's hard to get over.

This is totally solid. Just a bit of a novelty act.
