god damn this album still fucking rules



first 6 tracks alone contain more interesting little moments than some bands will have in their entire careers. would have a hard time picking a favorite song on here even if someone put a gun to my head, every few months when i come back and listen to this thing a whole bunch of times within a week or so i wind up vibing on a new favorite...i guess it depends on my mood at the time. tonight it's "mardi gras beads" and "tenderness" that are hitting just right.

the bassist was/is in Daniel Striped Tiger! very cool
