I've seen very few people flat-out hate it, give it a shot when the schedule's cleaner bgillesp. If you don't like it, you can be one of the elite "lower than 2.5" crew. Win-win in my book.

I will say that one and 'Our Little Chapter' are so similar to Deerhunter in a very appealing way

Album is consistent as anything though, thinking it would have made my top 5 last year.

I think Goodside might be my favourite but the whole thing is incredible. Avey made an album that rivals Sleep Cycle and Person Pitch imo. I wasn't as into his other albums (although I've really come around to both since first hearing them).
Wasn't into the last few Anco albums but their solo stuff has been mostly solid and it's just great that they're still around doing their thing.
