I did a Michael Jackson ‘band of the week’ entry on my RYM list a couple of months ago - there’s the awareness he’s a child rapist but then also the music can’t help but sit outside that, possible due to just having years of listening to him before the knowledge of all that
It’ll be the same for me and Kozelek except 1. He’s not done anything quite as heinous as Jacko 2. I much prefer his music
It’s a shitty situation but I still like his music, surprised he’s denying absolutely everything though
