Nooo :[ I think its songs are structured in fairly similar way to these tbh, with a denser tone

rutti is slowdive's best track along with SSS and go get it imo

To be fair, if I Cant Feel You didn’t advertise the Slowdive collab, I highly doubt anyone would even notice. Slowdive is one of my top 5 bands ever and I would’ve never known. But it is the best song here imo

"I Can't Feel You" is definitely the best song.
"Uncomfortably Numb" would be good if it weren't for the "Sensitivityyyyyy" opening and the chorus that's basically just him saying "So-orry" over and over again. Hate his performance on it.
I do like the part where the trumpet comes in on the verse though.

Anyone mention this sounds a lot like Language by the Contortionist at times?

I can see where Mike's vocals could be a deal breaker, but the instrumentation on this is gorgeous.
Also people who think this is better than LP1 are crazy.

Idk, so far I like this and LP1 about the same, albeit for different reasons.

not terribly huge on this band outside of a few songs but the openers like the best thing theyve ever done so hopefully i dig the rest of this

So this was a very pleasant surprise. Their debut is one of my favourite albums of all time, and I was at their first ever UK show in May 2015. The follow up really didn't do it for me, and I had no hype for this album at all, but gave it a listen after seeing the positive reviews on here. THIS is the album their second album should have been.

Went through their discog yesterday, just now starting this; the opener alone is already their best song imo
