Thanks for posting this review. This is another band I’m really digging that I will likely annoy some friends with. Hide Behind is fucking rad!

Yeah I’m not sure what I think of this on first couple listens. I really really dig some aspects and some are so out there that I’m not sure how much I like them. Definitely gonna take some time to digest

I had the same feeling the first time, it will open up.

So I like a lot of what is on here. There are some very memorable soaring highs but some things that truly irk me, mainly vocal wise. It’s sucks because she’s such a powerful vocalist but when you’re throwing this much shit at different angles at the board there’s some things bound not to stick. But the highs are like... really really good. The huge vocal harmonies in the middle of life of a flower is one that sticks out a lot.

She definitely shines in those highs, agree. I don't mind the laid back lows, she has a distinctive tone that's for sure, but I had the feeling when I heard it that it was not gonna be for everyone.

Whoa, big 50. Congrats!

Finally jamming this with decent-ish speakers and loving the vocals. This must slay live

Thanks Blush, and yeah Johnny, I would love to see them live, it must be wild.

Need to check this

I predict a solid Sow 3.3 with slight chances of 2.7 and 3.9

I'm intrigued by the album art, and the genre tags make it seem like it could be my thing too so we'll see!

No clue what it is I just listened to but I'm pretty sure I liked it. Every time the banshee-wailing started to get on my nerves, she'd make an interesting gear switch to a new tempo or different sound. I'll refrain from rating for now; this seems like something that needs to be parsed over repeated listens.
