yea I only place ALBW before ALTTP because I played both around the same time. I'm pretty much certain ALTTP would have it beaten out otherwise. I was way too late to the ALTTP train.



definitely give MM another spin dude. I came to love it even more when it was released on the 3DS, and the revamped bombers notebook makes the side quest lines a lot easier to get stuck into

Could definitely see preferring the new one if you played them around the same time. The non-linear aspect makes it a nice change of pace. Can’t believe that game’s already over 5 years old. But yeah, the original SNES game is why I became a Zelda fanboy in the first place nostalgia at its finest

A Link to the Past is amazing, never finished it thou. Now, OoT is a masterpiece of video gaming, and my favorite Zelda ost.
Only played these two.

OoT has one of the all time best final boss battles imo. Up there with The Boss in MGS3

Not a big fan of either of those tbh. I mean, the Boss is cool and all but she isn't even my favorite boss battle in Metal Gear Solid 3.

or maybe im just crazy for expecting some kind of consistency. like i look at myself, i'm a nerd who likes to dig deep and find cool shit, and that manifests in every single consumptive art/entertainment hobby that i'm into. doesn't matter if it's music or anything else

I dug deep one time and found a cool game called vanquish. Ever played that one park? Never seen anyone mention it

dude vanquish is sick, sega made a pc version and put it on steam recently for like $20

in fact i'd go so far as to say most everything studio clover/platinum games made * is pretty fuckin cool

yea i didnt have a ps3 so i played the steam version, but i was aware of the game before that

actually experiencing it was pretty wild though as an action junkie

My point is that we can complain about that because it's a music site, in the same way that people would be allowed to complain about us if we visited a videogames site.
Anyway, let's see, personally besides music the only other two things I consume kind of regularly are videogames and films, and I have a fairly entry-level taste in both. Probably because I prefer to do other things instead of exploring more videogames or films, I'm fine with playing Dark Souls, Yume Nikki, .flow, Devil May Cry and Ikaruga until I die, and I'm also fine with only watching a film once in a while.
