The vocals. The mediocre songwriting. The fact that it all adds up to a giant ball of forgettable mush.

i only really know a few songs of theirs and thought they were alright

This seems more varied than March at least...but still, yeah, not very good. Like 2.75 territory.

The March had crow killer too. Great song.

There's a lot holding this back. Terrible vocals which kind of shocks me cuz I've always liked the vocalist, weak production, mediocre riffs. Seems like everything that made Watchers of Rule so damn good is completely stripped away from this band on this release. Honestly, it doesn't even sound like the same band to me.

they just turned everything up to 11 on watchers I can't comprehend how they crafted that record so late in their careers.
