the same thing that happened to like 90% of death metal bands around ‘95. death metal became kind of passé and everyone switched either to groove metal, death n roll, or gothic metal.

luckily we got two awesome albums out of this band before they made the switch, and, who knows, maybe the other stuff is good if it’s your thing.

Better than most of the so-called classic DM albums. A perfect mix of heaviness, technicality and innovation. This is the album that paved the way for every tech death band out there. The lyrics are also intriguing, covering a variety of different topics and done nicely
