This pales compared to their stuff like Scenes. Having a hard time getting into it

I still personally enjoy In Somniphobia the best out of the bands works (the lucid nightmares segment is amazing)... Not exactly sure what to think of this record. It is definitely a step up from Graveward though, ill have to give it a few more listens before I give it a proper rating

The production on Graveward absolutely killed it for me. In Somniphobia is a fantastic record. Maybe my 3rd favorite from their Imaginary Sonicscape era and beyond. I do really enjoy their black metal days too which don't get a whole lot of love, but Hail Horror Hail and Scenario IV are killer records, along with the Ghastly Funeral Theater EP.
