A brilliant mess, got me hooked instantly. So many elements, influences, not sure what I like the most about them. Bright future ahead.

This is pretty original but not really my taste.

I think this is almost too restrained at times. There are plenty of decent ideas here but they need fleshing out a little more... I'm confused as to why the album is so short, it's not full-throttle grind.

I agree with you totally. My rating its only cause I'm hyped on the singles and the last track. This is a 3.5 for me for the originality and genre-bending. Some times it looks just like they're just experimenting textures and sounds.

"why the album is so short, it's not full-throttle grind." yeah this needs more tracks

Not necessarily more tracks (maybe a couple), but instead they could've extended some of these existing ones, many are built upon one idea that seems underdeveloped (albeit interesting). I like this, the atmosphere is the strongest aspect of the record & there's the basis of something great. Unrealised potential.

This almost sounds like a disjointed mixtape but it’s so well done it doesn’t even matter
