Good review, didn't know this was out.

Can't say I'm waiting for this to blow me away, but I'll still give this album a spin tonight.

Passable with solid instrumentation work and some fun moments here and there but nothing very noteworthy.

Okay just listened to a track "Hell Sworn", is nobody going to mention the completely different vocal style on this? It doesn't sound anything like James Malone of yesteryear, I remember hearing a few tracks off of Unwelcome and thought yep that's Arsis, but this is almost unrecognizable

It doesn't have to sound like Revocation to make one think of another band that has similar attributes.
Too bad Ellis is clearly technically talented but unable to make anything I want to listen to, which includes TBDM
