I felt this album was really good but they had a really poor choice of singles off it.

Listened to the whole thing, it's okay, but I like Start Something better.

This one is probably equal to Start Something IMO. no absolute classics like Last Train Home but it maintains its energy throughout which is good. it kinda bugs me when albums (like SS) start off really heavy and energetic but almost completely lose that halfway through.

God...what happened to this band? They sound nothing like Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja or Kobrakai...very depressing. I keep getting dissapointed this year by old favorite bands and it sucks!!!

this album is good to my lostprophets standards, but when you forget that you're listening to lostprophets, the album gets a whole lot better. confessed2005, how is this album hardcore at all?
right, thats what i thought, so then how are they pseudo hardcore?
anyway, good review, although i must disagree with what you said about the drums, i thought they were really good, way better than they were on SS.

This is an ok album, AFSOP is deffinately the best album to date, I'm not to impressed with the bass work in this album, Stuart is a great bassist but he doesn't show it.

This certainly isn't better than the first album, but it is good anyhow. It has catchy tunes like 'Rooftops' or 'Everybody's Screaming', i think the record will find enthusiasts.

i dont get it why some people hate this band for becoming more mainstream. incubus have done the same in the past few years yet they still retained most of their old fanbase.

It's because the sound of the Prophets has turned to worse for most people. The liked the more raw sound of TFSOP or the middle thing of SS, but this one is just... too catchy. At least for me. It's cool if it is what they want to do, just not my cup of tea. JUst too generic.
With Incubus, they always kept a very distinctive sound and uniqeness to their stuff though, which still set them apart from most other bands while still going more mainstream. That's probably the reason. The Prophets unfortunately lack that IMO

This album really disappointed me. I miss the interludes from Start Something for one thing, plus it seems they have made this album just to be popular. Nevertheless, it is catchy and listenable at points.

i've been listening to this recently, and it's really nowhere near as great as start something or the fake sound of progress. i liked their sound a lot on those two albums and on this album they retain a lostprophets style to a certain degree, but then it just sounds like every other band out there for the most part.
