Yeah I hope you dig it, but now I'm apprehensive about those comparisons I made to YC and blink. This doesn't really sound anything like those, I just got the same overwhelming wave of nostalgia. Think closer to BTMI!...I also got Tiny Little Houses vibes at times.

Now I’m feeling strong about saying this reminds me of Motion City Soundtrack in some ways

Freakin' U Out def has MCS vibes with that post-chorus synth part

This is pretty darn good. I can always appreciate a good Amerigo Vespucci pun.

I dunno, so far this just makes me want to actually listen to the pop-punk artists of yesteryear I enjoyed.

Something about the execution just didn't quite resonate with me. Good review though!

This is really fun and the Motion City Vibes are super strong. I wish the new Justin Pierre solo album sounded like this tbh.

New Pierre has a few good cuts and a great intro track but yeah. I mostly just miss Thaxton on drums

Couple decent track but mostly flat songwriting and performance honestly. The last Motion City album was the same way. Just flat and stuck in a rut with played out song structures.

This, on the other hand, has some nice little quirks and a pace that gives it some color.

It feels like a cross between Tiny Little Houses' Idiot Proverbs and something written by Bomb The Music Industry!

since you said you don't have time to find good pop-punk in 2018.. I wanted to refer you to "Gone" by Knucklepuck. You're welcome.

Does this even have Jeff on vocals?

On occasion, but he’s not the lead

Been a while since I listened to this band haha. Love Chris, but for some reason expected to hear a lot more Jeff on this.

In hindsight that was a dumb thought hahahaha.
