second half is great but leans a bit too hard on its influences imo

The first half tops the second in overall quality but I love the energy throughout. It never gets boring, at least.

Yes, I do

Only song I think that isn't up to par with the rest of the album is Another Good Thing. So Vivid! & Lifelike are standouts imo but most of the album is pretty damn solid.

also all these nights sounds pretty similar to give me novacaine by green day anyone else hear that? not yours is close to sounding like a post-replacements paul westerberg song as well.

Thanks! I honestly felt pretty cringey about the unnecessarily personal aspect of it, but I spent too long writing it to go back. I'm glad some people found it enjoyable/relatable.

Why is it so impossible for me to hate anything Jeff is involved in.

I've always felt really young physically but old mentally. But then when I see that Ocean Avenue and Blink's s/t both came out 15 years ago, that's when I realize I'm actually getting pretty old.

I wouldn’t consider this pop punk, seems more like power pop to me...
Really feeling some light Blue Album vibes
|

I started to feel old when I realized the artists I listened to are way younger than myself lol
Great write-up Sow, will check this although I'll probably hate it.

Breathless on DVD and Lifelike are dope. The rest, I'm not feeling~

stoked to listen to this. the nostalgia you describe about Ocean Avenue and Blink-182 is the exact same feeling I get from 2010/2011 pop-punk like Suburbia, Good For Me, MO self-titled, etc
