It’s better in every conceivable way. Better production, better riffs, better vox, better soft parts. It’s miles above the last album unless for some reason you have a raging hard on for that one like Aiwaz does apparently lol.
This has the same vibe as Buried/Scattering era.

Yea, Kaiwaz is probably connecting to that album based on the subject matter or something. The Sirens is waaaay fukn better.
BTW they've fucked up the track order on Spotify. Devoured by Sarcopenia is supposed to come after Nowhere Near. A minor detail, but that can still affect your listen-throughs

There’s like one good song there. This album is great throughout tbh. Might be the biggest surprise of he year for me.

every time i try to listen to this i just hate everything about it so much. all the individual parts don't seem to ever make any sense together or flow like they used to. The fact that the new vox often tries to strain her voice to sound like Stu also really bugs me. Lady has pipes but she doesn't flex bc she's "gotta be like stu".
