I had seen the Donnington one before, but not the Amsterdam. Sick shit!

— Ha ha. What the hell is Geoff wearing onstage at Donington…
You see that and say thank god for grunge

^^Well yes and no, grunge wiped out a lot of worthy metal bands - some of them pushed back later on - but a lot of '80s metal tropes needed to be shelved.
With time, I learned to see the effect of grunge in the '90, as analogous to that of punk in the late '70s.
If not for grunge, Flotsam and Jetsam wouldn’t release an album such as Cuatro…

It's definitely one of my least favorite classic ryche tunes, but it has a certain magic to it. Kind of like the pumpkins' Tonight Tonight? There just aren't many tracks like it.

Kickass album.
And I still dig Silent Lucidity. Opinions.

"— Ha ha. What the hell is Geoff wearing onstage at Donington…"
Geoff and Chris, and often even Ed and Scott, looking like fierce fucking tryhard dorks all the time is an endearing trait in those days lol. Geoff dressing like he wanted to be the frontman of any other band and Chris going from Richie Sambora to colonial Britain pirate shirts never fails to crack me up.
Luckily Whip was always there to hold down the fort.
