^this. A 4. Reasons explained without complaints about production or bad set of headphones (regardless of the money you spent on them).

Terminal itch is great

Just learned these guys are/were also known as Cop Destroyer which explains the "pig". Always thought they meant literal pigs.

Taking their band name in a literal sense sounds hilarious lmao.

I just listened. I really liked it on first listen, but I know I'd love it with continued listens so this gets a hard 4

Whoa, whose comments got wiped?
Edit: oh, that rat dude must have gotten b&

I'm pretty unfamiliar with grind so I just assumed it was actually referring to destroying pigs and that was the norm of the genre lol

Treb cleaned house. And bloc you make me laugh dude lol, honestly I thought the same thing when I was first getting into these guys (I’m pretty unfamiliar with grind too) but its just a less blunt way of saying cop killer apparently

I dig this a lot. I think they've lost most of their edge, but I still enjoy them playing this style too. Definitely prefer Prowler and Terrifyer by far, but I can get down with this.

Sacrilege, but this is the first Pig Destroyer album I heard and thought it was pretty good, honestly. I'll happily take any rec's on which albums of theirs I should to go next.

That’s unfortunate man. You can’t say you don’t like Pig Destroyer until you listen to Prowler and Terrifyer though. Two of the heaviest albums I’ve ever listened to.

Yeah very unfortunate on my part...it's not like I had an aversion either cause I definitely know them by name alone. I just never got around listening to them properly. I just started w/this one cause it was the newest and easiest to access an album stream on a whim cause friends of mine are raving 'bout their show in a few weeks and I wanted to check out the hype behind the album/band.

Spin the two I mentioned and you might reconsider.

Concrete Beast is the only song on here I don’t really dig, everything else ranges from good-great m/
Definite improvement over Book Burner and I even dug that album somewhat.

Prowler. go chronologically.

Everything up to Phantom Limb is essential imo.
That album doesn’t get enough bumpage on here, perfect blend of grind/groove.

Phantom Limb may have a 4 overall but it really still is quite under-appreciated

Agreeeeeeddd.
Probably my 2nd favourite behind Prowler tbh.

yap I love those 3 quite seemingly, so yeah Acme you can go straight Prowler, Terrifyer and Phantom Limb. I think prob Book Burner will be your greatest disappointment (or not, cause you've been warned lol). I mean they go hard but the albums are "grindshort" and you can dig them all 3 at once more or less in 1h30
