this is much better with the visual album at a high enough volume to actually pick out the details tbh. its really hard to pick much out of it on its own in the background and I can see how people who throw this on while they're doing other things rather than pay attention to it aren't getting a lot out of it

Something that has to be addressed that, to my knowledge, Tangerine Reef is a spiritual successor to ODDSAC. If you look at the boys' interviews and statements about ODDSAC, they emphasize that the music is inseparable from the visual. Same diff applies here. (Kind of surprised sputnik has labelled this as a "new album", or LP, when really it belongs in the compilation section right along with ODDSAC, imo.

the production was nice on this but overall it was crazy boring. i wouldve rather they continued in the sound of the meeting in the waters EP last year if they wanted to be 'experimental'
