Yeah, it's quite a nice change-up from the high pitched shrieking of the past two albums... Dallas pulled it off fine, but Spencer needed his own style.

I'm just happy there's nothing as retarded as "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Doors". What a bad song and the clean vocals there are just disgusting.

I actually hear some influence from bands such as Thrice, the Fall of Troy, and Poison the Well. Meshed together, it makes their sound a little more complete. Talked to the guys of Underoath yesterday at Warped... they weren't REALLY cool guys or anything, just down-to-earth jesus freaks. At least they weren't pretentious assholes like Protest the Hero, whose set sucked.

I'd go to ToC, br3ad. Thursday and Underoath are worth it.

Anti-Flag would be interesting also, but yeah Thursday and Underoath def. But I wouldn't mind Senses Fail.

Anti-Flag and Thursday are both very good live. underOATH is surprisingly sort of inconsistent live. There are some amazing moments, and others where things just sound bland. When I saw them at Warped a week ago all the new stuff they played sounded amazing.

On another note, I finally got this album today and am extremely impressed. Such an improvement and my good feeling about this record was correct.

I'm pretty freaking shocked. It feels like just last week that Underoath was the bashments of the site. Now Hawthorn Heights have no company.

3.5 is the lowest rating this has yet other than REINER who gave it a 1.

I'm surprised this still isn't old and I feel like I haven't even fully exlpored the songs. They're talking to me like, "come, listen to us more and prick and poke, we like that".

To be honest, I'm not crazy about Christian hardcore. So I don't care who's better, underOATH or Norma Jean.

Obviously you don't have the album and are a liar. There is plenty of singing in this.

I like this so much, I think I might end up giving TOCS another chance, I mean, I'll give it an open mind this spin around.

yeah.....i listened to it a few more times and i still agree with my first statement..... Every song on this album is just a bunch of screeming with a few lines of singing in it. I prefer TOCS style- verse (screeming) -chourus (singing) - verse - chourus.... this albun seems like it has no chouruses in it.
