i'm on track 3 and this legit just sounds like if DGD tried to write a good album (less skremz doe)

and it just sounds so much more appealing than the generic run of the mill swancore

really good album, feels like nothing went tooooo off the deep end (that part in Last doe) but there were a shit ton of cool parts on this. Devices was def the catchiest but the hooks are all good, album is missing something like See It Through ie THE absolute banger but I wouldn't call this run of the mill/generic. just very well executed swancore that isn't inherently trying to be anything else but it's own brand of safely zany. i feel like Isaac's melodies would fit tilian really well which is what gives me the big better DGD vibes but i mean that in a good way. future listens will probably help me process better but yeah really good album lol, feel like if you liked this or the last Royal Coda you'll dig

wish it ended a bit stronger but I think everything up until/including Redd was great and the last 2 were just kinda okay (Serrated too short to do anything and Waypoints was underwhelming for a closer on first listen)

It's All There was probs my fave (hadn't heard prior). I think Lavender Town is probably better still but this is a worthy follow up.

and like if DGD post Mothership did this it would feel like the Instant Grat after AS as in a wow you knew you didn't need to top the last one but instead made something really fucking fun so props.



I'd probs still more closely compare it to the last Royal Coda as a whole for some reason
