I think this is my Album of the Year so far. I'm loving it that much.

this has basically been the only thing I've been listening to for the past few days, it feels good to have my addiction validated

it helps that there isn't a weak spot on the album

I listen to a bunch of new releases throughout the week, but the whole time I've been listening to these other albums, I've been thinking "I just wanna listen to that Night Verses album again."

ramon.

I don’t really think AAL have done anything needlessly wanky in years, if at all, relative to a lot of bands that have formed in their wake. I feel like Tosin’s talents have garnered him a bit of a dumb reputation and it’s a shame the band’s most well known tracks tend to be the fastest. TJoM is a gorgeously tasteful and meticulous record and wanky is the last word I’d ascribe.

Also Aric needs to do another Guitar Center comp. His finalist performance in 2012 is one of the most entertaining drum videos I’ve ever seen.

it's also kinda unfair how good of an artist Aric is, he has some badass drawings out there

i'm neutral on them, they add some context but in terms of sonic contribution they don't really have much of an effect

Got to agree with Steak, the vocal samples don't hurt, but they feel completely unnecessary.

Damn! Will Putney first puts Vein's errorzone out and now this? Dude is going crazy. The very beginning of Phoenix IV reminds me somehow of old 8 bit games

Also it's nice to see people appreciating "Into the Vanishing Light" - I love it.

"Also it's nice to see people appreciating "Into the Vanishing Light""

If it's anywhere near the debut I'll hate it.
