The vocalist absolutely rules, no idea how you’re getting 3 Doors Down vibes from this.

It's fine that you don't like it from the perspective of someone that I assume doesn't like/listen to doom but it's well liked by people that do. Maybe it's just better received by people that like this style

Not a huge fan of the cleans myself. But everything else makes up for them. I love the harsh vox.

nah honestly i love doom and sludge and stoner to bits and genuinely didn't like his vocals. has a penchant for drawing out his notes in weird croonin oversung bluddy meanderin melodies that match the tempo in the worst way possible and otherwise soundin a bit cheesy and hollowed out and yeh dunno.

The harshes are definitely better than the cleans but I do love the cleans so

Hype seems kinda big. Not sure if I like it as much as Hunted, but not sure on my rating yet.

it's good but the songwriting is a bit messier than Hunted and it definitely doesn't grip me as well. all the tracks on that album were sick but Bloodletting is a real let down of an opener.
Isolation is sick however, probably in their top 3 tracks.

I don't understand the three doors down comparison for the vocals. The best way the describe his voice is a mix between David Gold (Woods of Ypres) and Bruce Dickinson.
