I really expected to see a 1 for A Lesson In Romantics from you after that comment Pika, haha
band kinda lost me on a couple mediocre albums since the departure of Jason but this album and the self titled are great in addition to the new one

anywhere but here is the only one i outright dont like but monsters's opening stretch is a goddamn minefield. that album at least makes it up by having some really strong songs in the back end. black lines is pretty different from all the others but ive always thought it was great
perhaps i spoke a bit soon about the new one bc the back half has been a good bit stronger so far. really liked the last 5 songs

drop the new one below black lines and put the debut ep behind s/t and i back that

As much as I LOVE a few tracks off of black lines, I feel the albums as a whole are stronger when they commit to their true style (debut, S/T, and the 2 recent ones did that). Really glad they at least tried to experiment a little on Black Lines though.

Sideways off the new album sounds like it is straight off Boys Like Girls debut album
|
| |
Ahem:
s/t > ALIR > Black Lines > What It Means = Sunnyland > ABH > Monsters
|
| |
Ait, I'll check s/t next

This is like the definition of pretty good pop punk. I just remembered it existed today but it definitely still holds up.
