Not really "entirely", as "Handcuffs" is more of a sociopolitical critique rather than a self-introspective track like most of the other tracks, just in my opinion though.

John Lennon was a charlatan who beat his wife and David Bowie slept with 13 year-olds but millions still mourned their passing and enjoy their music to this day. It's not a matter of complicity or "support", so long as you aren't defending their actions.

Eg I feel nasty listening to anything by Enabler or Gaza but occasionally am okay with some Brand New or Moose Blood.

While most people refuse to listen to Lost Prophets cos they've drawn the line before that.

I guess so, but all this started 'cause someone felt the need to apologise for their tastes, which I don't think is necessary. If a band's lyrics have some basis in reality and pertain to some dubious shit, I can personally understand why someone would be put off by that.

Erm the vocalist came under some pretty solid allegations of rape and being a general piece of shit- and the rest of the band bailed and formed Cult Leader
