I think the melody's strong on that one (maybe it's lifted from somewhere, idk), I love the concept of the lyrics, and it has a very nice more Americana influenced vibe than the straight lounge-y trad pop stuff of the rest of this.

Welp, I loved every album this man released so far. Maybe this one is gonna take it sweet sweet time. Four songs are already incredibly good. But songs like Mr. Blue, Kiss me and some other forgettable tunes really bring this down.

Mr. Blue just really sounds like the vibe of ‘I Said Goodbye to Me’ by Harry Nilsson (‘Everybody’s talking at me…’) just with no discernible interesting melody really :/



I just get the feeling most every song on Chloe is a boring homage to a particular well known song
