idk how to describe the guitars (particularly the rhythm) in terms of timbre, at all. They sound stacked as hell but incredibly hollow at the same time. The cymbals sit on top of everything else in mix, and during the ~metal~ parts (which are pretty few and far between so far), everything congeals together and sounds like vomit hitting a pavement or something.
Listen to 2:07 during the opener, for example.

i think this will be a 3.0 for me just like their last album
i dig what theyre trying to do on these songs but they are just 2 damn long and unstructured and the sound is the biggest offense as many have pointed out before.
