humbug and fwn are like equal but humbug is more consistent where FWN has better highs. I haven’t checked anything after yet besides like half of suck it and see but I’ll prob get to AM today

I only listened to this once, it was difficult. I'll try again later and see what happens. People talk about lazy and silly lyrics but it's the delivery that bothers me.
Another band I love, Spoon, has the track "First Caress" and the lyrics
"Coconut milk, coconut water
Aw ha, you still like to tell me they're the same
Aw ha, and who'm I to say?"
are delivered perfectly.

even the name of this album sounds convoluted and not as slick as they'd hoped.
alex needs to remember he's a gifted songwriter and stop worrying about being all cultured and artsy or unique.

Surprised how much I ended up liking this. Was not crazy about their previous two albums and wasn't initially feeling a few tracks from this, but really dug the concept overall.
Won't blame others for still not liking it still, but damn is this their most interesting release in a while.
