Easy 4 on first listen. Will see if this grows or wears off over the next week or so. Love the experimental vibes, which effortlessly coincide with the pop sensibilities and hooks. Best of both worlds.

First Kimbra album that I listen to.
Need to check the rest of her stuff, really enjoying this one.

Anyone getting turned on to Kimbra's music because of the feature/trending/review counts as a win for me.

I get where he's coming from, but (for me, at least) ratings are so arbitrary now. They're usually exaggerated when I'm really high on a particular album, they don't need to be definitive. Seems silly to place such strong emphasis on them when opinions are so subject to change

I've only listened a couple times but my initial reaction is that this is way more straight-forward and standard as a pop album than her previous material, aside from a few tracks. Like, these songs could have been created under any number of modern singer's names. I feel like there's something distinctly "Kimbra" about it missing. I still enjoy the album a lot, as a more conventional pop record compared to Vows and Golden Echo, it's just not exactly what I was expecting.

I agree, these songs could have been made under any number of modern singers' names, but I heavily disagree that it's not distinctly "Kimbra", the fact that she can anchor all of these genres in her style is admirable, to be honest.

Also ratings are arbitrary, what a newsflash, stop feeling guilty about liking something.
