I like that name, plus it's been around a long time because of the movie. at least it invokes feelings and images, this name just makes me think of the top of a car seat, which I guess is the point for some reason

The name comes from the way he'd record his first albums in the back of his car, so I guess it catches the knowingly solipsistic interaction with everyday matters that runs through the project (although you do kinda have to know the story for that to resonate )

Like, the re-recorded version of Bodys is way better
And although the instrumentals on og and rerecord are equally as great, the vocals of Will are far superior on the rerecord, I mean don't tell me you loved the screeching on og Beach Life or the unstable, weak low singing on Bodys
Only thing I agree with is that the orignial production had DIY charm whereas this rerecording is just overproduced
