Matt Wachter was the reason 30STM used to be competent, if what you say about the last 10 years being awful are true. He left in 2007, then strangely they started to fuck up more and more.

some interesting commentary but far too long-winded to read in full

"whoa whoa who's claiming jared leto is a bad actor because le one bad movie and who's bashing anberlin"

Me. He's terrible in Alexander, terrible in Suicide Squad, terrible in the New Blade Runner, terrible in Lord of War, i guess okay in Requiem for A Dream and his (okay) performance in Dallas Buyers Club is overrated as fuck because it's a touchy subject. He's Jared Leto with a costume in every role he's in. But he's trying soooooooooooooo hard, god bless him. Sorry.

I saw them live in London last week (was bought a ticket by family friend, not my own choosing) and there was absolutely nothing enjoyable about any of their new music whatsoever. City of Angels was the only redeeming factor of the 90 minute set.

I'm all about that Leto mockery, but his acting really isn't what needs to be attacked. And Amberlin has nothing to do with this, they weren't even here. They're selling insurance or something now. Focus your hate where it belongs, squarely on this ridiculous farce of a band.

The spotify album cover is different, had to go check after seeing this atrocity, but in a quick search I did find this one as the album cover too.

I enjoy Remedy and One Track Mind (the later only to a certain extent however), but besides.... it's pretty much trash

Is this a product placement on an album cover? This has to be a joke.

Album is so inoffensive and ridiculously trite that it’s offensive. Legit irritating and maddening how little potential they’ve utilized in the past 8 years. Fuck man...

Matt didn't join the band until after the debut, leaving just after ABL, and I don't think he had all that much of an influence if I'm honest.

I doubt I even want to hear this. they really had great potential back in the early 00s as the review (pos mate) implies.
