If the new one was my 1st exposure to the band I'd be very happy but it is bitter sweet for the reasons blush mentioned. Namely the increased instrumentation has the opposite effect they intend and makes certain songs less impactful.

I think TSS and Sum of All Fears will be the definitive McCafferty for me. Best of the old and new. Wish them all the best, though, I'm glad they've found a process that seems to work for them.

He basically cancelled the band himself by failing to stand up to the pressure of his rising star. Beyond that hes pretty obviously a deeply flawed person with some very clear examples of douch- like behavior.
