I really like this album, it's just by the point you get to Two Paintings, the repeating type of song-structure-spoken-word-verses featured on this album gets old. I end up skipping Two Paintings just to keep things diversified enough.
Crow, pt. 2 is an awesome closer ("I'm sobbing eating eggs again") and in isolation the first four songs are unique enough and built with enough character that it does continue to feel fresh and new. If this album was a little more concise and intentional-feeling, I'd put it as my favorite Mount Eerie record. I love the sound and emotional impact this record holds.
