What does this sound like compared to Talking Heads? Does Byrne perform similarly to how he did with them?

I would def recommend this to talking heads fans, he's still deliciously weird and catchy.

Nice, can't wait to go through his discography

the HBO special that was just released for this is beyond excellent, probably on par with 'Stop Making Sense.' Ch-check it out.

wa wa wa wa what's it all about?

Can't tell if you're genuinely asking or just impulsively continuing the beatie boys lyric; but its a concert documentary of David Byrne's American Utopia broadway show/performance. Music from this album along with some old talking heads tracks played on a minimalist stage with choreographed dancing and monologue interludes throughout. I enjoyed so much more than I expected to

It was an excellent show. It's on YouTube, if you don't mind watching it from the audience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2joj8SEI5A&ab_channel=YenRug
