Well, what was the record that you listened to? Did you like it?

These guys really cover an incredible amount of ground in their sound.

Working on some minor adjustments. Wrote this very late into the night so I don't doubt theres some awkward writing in here. Thank you!

This wouldn't be too much of a departure for you then. If you enjoy this dive into the deep end. Coquelicot Asleep in the Poppies will give you an idea of how far out this guy can go.

Diving into of Montreal's discography is such a beautiful experience, I wish I could turn back time and listen to Paralytic Stalks for the first time again.

Well, it's been band oriented the last three albums, while the mid 2000s to 2012 was mainly just Barnes as the songwriter. This album reverts back to being a primarily solo album, changing the pace from the last trilogy of albums.

The last few albums have been hit and miss, mostly miss with the last. This really feels like a cohesive Barnes project to me. One of the most cohesive overall.

Is this singer Transgender? He seems to be from the lyrics.

"nightcrawling pop songs", nice. Paralytic Stalks is my favorite too. @Eons- Kevin Barnes is not transgender, but he has projected an alias as an old, black transgendered/gender-fluid person who was in a 70s funk band

yeah kevin's lyrics don't have anything on linkin park or korn

on a serious note, getting a lot of beat vibes from kevin's lyrics lately, which I appreciate
